5 out of 5 stars Great headset, works perfectly, no annoying static   May 15, 2008
Almost all of the other headsets I've used from other companies (Mad Catz, etc.) have had a buzzing or static noise while online. This noise can be heard by other players and often makes me turn OFF my headset every time I am not talking. Now, with these, this problem is non-existent. Very good quality, picks up only close (voice) noise, and also have a clear quality when listening. Great.

3 out of 5 stars Good for $5, but not for $20   April 13, 2008
I've had the original headset for the 360 since late 2006, and it has always been reliable and in good working condition. After a bad game, I threw it to the ground and it cracked in half, but all it needed was a little tape, and it still worked.

Me and my brother have gone through 6 of these between the two of us. The one that came with my Elite was dead on arrival. It didn't work at all, instead of wasting time with the warranty, I bought a new one(they've now changed the design a little bit). That one also was DOA and I returned it. My brother has gone through 4 headsets without misuse and is now using a Sprint cell phone headset because it's a waste of money to continue to buy Microsoft headsets. I would recommend a different brand other than Microsoft, possibly Motorola.

5 out of 5 stars Works great and it's fun too!   January 28, 2008

This is a good headset and works as it should. Just one tiny side note: Parent's, if you put this headset in the clutches of three boys ten and under, it might not last too long. It doesn't hold up well to chewing on the microphone. It doesn't withstand being jumped on. I learned my lesson! I'm glad I didn't buy the expensive ones! Can't wait for a stainless steel one to come out!

This is an awesome headset but it comes if you buy the premium,or the elite. Its very breakable but if you take good care of it, it won't break. Unless you have a really big head, then in most cases it wont break. Xbox live is not full without a headset and this is awesome to use. If you can afford it, go for a wireless headset, but this is an awesome headset and there is nothing wrong with it.
