The full repair kit with the replacement hinge is wonderful. The 10 minutes it took to install is no sweat off my brow considering my bass pedals were breaking about once every two weeks. Having this rock solid repair that makes my bass pedal nearly indestructible under heavy use saves me time and headaches because now I don't have to contact EA for a replacement pedal all the time. Great product, and worth every penny.

After seeing a friend's Rock Band drum pedal break one night, I started to check my own pedal all the time when my friends came over to play and that kind of ruined my Rock Band experience for a while because instead of enjoying myself, I was living in fear that it would break. Then I saw this product and read the good reviews people gave it... Believe me, it is the solution, I chose this one because it's the most complete pedal kit available, my pedal was not broken to start with. Now I can enjoy playing rock band and stop worrying about the plastic pedal, because it's now a METAL pedal!

It took about 20 minutes to install, as the metal bolt took a long time to dislodge. After installing, it worked like a charm, as was much more responsive than the vanilla pedal. My only suggestion is some sort of new setup where the user can adjust the sensitivity of the pedal as the degree of looseness won't be perfect for experienced drummers.
