Xbox360 case May 3, 2008 Its a very nice case. Just what I needed. A perfect way to carry your Xbox360.
If I ever get it... April 12, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered this product on 25 Feb and it's now half way through April and I still haven't gotten it in the mail. I placed the order and then had to approve a later shipping date due to some "unforseen issues" with the product. Once that was done, I thought that I'd get what I ordered. But here I am still waiting. You'd be better off getting something similar somewhere else. It's not worth the wait...
Very good product April 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was not expecting a "perfect" case for this price range, thus I've rated it 5 stars even though there are some (minor) flaws.
Firs of all, the case really does its job. I was able to fit the console, power brick, and 4 controllers (2 wired and 2 wireless) inside. That's more than enough for me.
I was worried, since some people mentioned they were unable to fit the power brick inside. However there is space allocated to it in the main compartment, along with the console itself. There is also a padding item to separate them (to reduce risk of scratches).
The four controllers required a little bit "tucking in", since it was designed for two controllers only. The detached power cable also goes inside the same place, so the front pocket is very crowded.
There are ventilation holes, if you want to run the console inside the case. Yet, I would not recommend it, given the high failure rate of Xbox 360.
And there are some "not so good stuff" too: * The bottom is also detachable. I would not need such an opening, however I'd prefer a securer bottom. * The CD/DVD pockets does not seem to be good enough. Fortunately, it also is detachable, so I will be able to fit a few games, with their own cases inside. * One more pocket, and/or slightly more room inside would be nice to fit some extra items (headsets, usb disks, etc).
These are minor annoyances for me, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
Great item, but not perfect. March 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall I think this is a great, well made product. It is sturdy and made with quality materials. Unfortunately, like most things, there is room for improvement.
The first problem is the case could be a little bigger. I am able to fit everything I own, (Xbox 360, power brick and cord, two controllers, 6ft HDMI, 6ft Ethernet cable, wired head set, and games), but it might be a problem if I had to fit the component cable, wireless network adapter and/or any other accessories available for the 360. I probably could fit anything I needed to, but with the concern that something might get scratched and/or damaged.
My second problem is that once, a couple of my games slipped out of the sleeves meant to hold the discs. This did only happen once, but I haven't used the case that much and I shouldn't have to worry about my $60 game getting damaged.
Finally, my last issue with this case is that there isn't any protection on the sides that are mesh for ventilation. I understand this was made to prevent the system from overheating when using it while it is still in the case, but it does leave the system vulnerable on the sides. I took some padding from a camera bag and fit it on the sides, but this should have been taken care of by the manufacturer.
Considering these imperfections I would still highly recommend this item since it is big enough for my needs, I was able to fix the sides, and if the discs keep slipping out I'm sure I could figure out a solution.
Pretty good March 10, 2008 Nice Xbox 360 carrying case. A bit small if you have 4 controllers but good otherwise.
