 Be careful when you scratch the code! January 7, 2008

I bought this for my husband as a gift and was very unhappy when we discovered that he completely scratched off the code when he tried to get it. There was pretty much nothing we could do, so we basically lost $20. Be very careful when you scratch the code-use your nail or a coin and nothing else!

I bought one of these cards while it was slightly on-sale, making it a bit cheaper than buying points directly through Microsoft.
It's just a plain, plastic card with a portion that you scratch off to reveal a long key code that you enter into your XBL account.
A word of caution though. Don't scratch it too hard because you can actually scratch off the key code lettering, which is what happened to me. Luckily, I was still able to figure out what my code was and the card didn't go to waste.
With free shipping through my Amazon Prime account, this was easy enough and I saved a tiny bit of money.

Basic 1600 microsoft points... spend it wisely because they fly quickly... only bought a theme, a gamerpicture, an episode of family guy, and 2 xbox live arcade games with it, it needs to be able to buy more
