4 out of 5 stars Great game!   April 19, 2008

I got this for my husband and so far he is hooked! The graphic are amazing and he just enjoy all the details put in that game (music and story lines)! He just finished playing Oblivion and that was the next good game for him. The only thing that I personnally don't like about that game is that you cannot save whenever you want like Oblivion, you have to wait until the game offers you a saving point (like final fantasy).

5 out of 5 stars Totally worth it   April 16, 2008

This game is so addictive with the nice story line and game play along with the CS's in it. The game is on 4 disks and really takes a while to finish. You can think of it as an Final Fantasy game on the Xbox360 since the creator Hironobu Sakaguchi who's the creator of Final Fantasy serious, and the famous composer Nobuo Uematsu. I Highly recommend this game if you like the old FF's and it also worth buying an Xbox360 just for this game(like what I did).

5 out of 5 stars More like Lost Month   April 7, 2008

For someone who still owns a copy of Final Fantasy VII and still plays it from time to time farming power sources and mind sources, this game is absolutely terrific. The game is a Japanese RPG of very traditional roots that are unabashedly paraded through the entire four disc journey. The thing about this game is that it is, truthfully, love it or hate it. Anyone who still remembers 1997 and all the fun they had planning strategies to defeat sephiroth or any other mega boss from any rpg during that time would absolutely love the new look of a classic mechanism. But, for anyone who doesn't look fondly back on those years, you most likely will not like it. The pace is slow, the story is epic, which means lots of reading and cut scenes, just about enough to make an fps enthusiast's head explode in anxiety. I've been playing it for over 80 hours and I'm about to beat the game after doing almost everything humanly possible to do in the game and I love it. I'll start playing the game and all of a sudden it'll be 2 in the morning. It's addictive and the fight system is unobtrusive. The only problem that I have about it is that the frame rate will occasionally slow down during transitions between fighting and not fighting and that not all of the sequences are voice acted. Overall, it's a fantastic game for anyone who like's traditional Japanese RPG's. Even if you're curious about the game, give it a try, the story alone is worth the money.

This game delivers if your a fan of previous installments of the Final Fantasy series. I Won't say much as there are some great reviews already, but if you liked the turn based fighting, strategic character skill development, and cinematic storytelling of Final Fantasy you will like this game as well.
